In the intersection between political philosophy and illustration, Pochote Press is a publisher house that seeks to transgress the hypertextuality of modernity, through narratives that intersperse text and image.

We tell stories to transform reality, from an anti-racist, anti-colonialist and anti-patriarchal perspective, combining letterpress and risographic printing techniques.

We publish essays, political philosophy, narrative, poetry, photography and illustration, preferably made by women and non-binary people, and  experimental works that transgress the traditional idea of the book as an object and the author as an individual producer.

La memoria florece. Miradas feministas a la obra de Jean Robert

What tensions and alliances exist between decolonial feminisms and critical thinking of modernity? In times of darkness and uncertainty, Memory Blooms seeks clues to reconstruct the possibility of a dignified life. Members of the Decolonial Feminisms Network, in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, discuss one of the most provocative critics of capitalist modernity, Jean Robert.

Diálogos transcontinentales.  Alianzas activistas con los pueblos indígenas de Canadá, México y Australia

Transcontinental Dialogues brings together Indigenous and non-Indigenous anthropologists from Mexico, Canada, and Australia who work at the intersections of Indigenous rights, advocacy, and action research. These engaged anthropologists explore how obligations manifest in differently situated alliances, how they respond to such obligations, and the consequences for anthropological practice and action.

This volume presents a set of pieces that do not take the usual political or geographic paradigms as their starting point; instead, the particular dialogues from the margins presented in this book arise from a rejection of the geographic hierarchization of knowledge in which the Global South continues to be the space for fieldwork while the Global North is the place for its systematization and theorization.
