I am currently researching the history of cities and colonization; the role of women in the development of different technologies and specifically, around the history of food and nutrition.

I wrote History of Contempt, an essay on colonial domination in Mesoamerica that takes the history of the depective word naco as a pretext to elaborate a political philosophy of insult.

I recently edited "Memory Blooms, Feminist Perspectives on the Work of Jean Robert", a book that brings together the dialogues between anticolonial feminism and the critique of modernity of one of the most provocative authors in contemporary philosophy.

Some of the themes of my writings in books and journals are:

  • Thowards a decolonization of philosophy
  • Food history and the development of agriculture  in mesoamerica
  • The role of women in radical movements, specifically the Zapatista women in Chiapas
  • History of science from a feminist and anticolonial perspective
  • Social movements and overflowing insurgences; specifically the feminist movements in the global south and #YoSoy132 students movement in México

Oaxaca, México.
